A vehicle linked to Punjabi singer-actor Ammy Virk was reportedly targeted in a drive-by shooting in Abbotsford, British Columbia. Police confirmed the shooting and said no one was injured.
What happened in Abbotsford
According to the Abbotsford Police Department account reported by The Indian Express, occupants of a dark-coloured SUV opened fire at a car travelling through the 2500-block of McCallum Road at around 11 pm. The incident came shortly after Ammy Virk’s concert at Rogers Forum.
Police later responded to a separate vehicle fire roughly five kilometres away on Sunnyside Place. Investigators are examining whether the burning SUV was connected to the shooting.
